- Chipped or broken tooth
- Lost crown
- Broken braces and wires
- Knocked out tooth
A fractured tooth can be superficial if it’s broken halfway or at least just above the gums. This is an aesthetic dental emergency, but it’s treatable by replacing your teeth or covering up the fracture with enamel. The extent of the damage will determine the kind of treatment that you will get. Worst case scenario is you undergo surgery because the nerve endings or tissues around the tooth are damaged severely.
